To ensure TBS can be a place for everyone to feel comfortable, there are a few rules we want everyone to keep in mind. Some rules are for the benefit of keeping the site balanced, while others are here to keep everyone happy.
CHARACTER RULES
TBS is entirely Original Character focused. Be considerate when you make characters who are real life overpowered with intellect, physical ability, and of course, money. You can have a rich as hell character, but try not to make them mythical-levels of rich, and don't use your character's wealth as a way to trivialize all problems in rp. As for intelligence and strength, you can be really smart or really strong, but once you're getting to super-genius or strongest human in the world levels, that doesn't really make it fun for everyone else.
If you have questions or concerns, feel free to contact a Staff Member. If you have questions about a particular idea, feel free to contact a staff member! We're happy to help you work out the details.
MULTIPLE CHARACTERS
You can have an unlimited amount of characters. Just make sure you know who is who, and who they are roleplaying with.
ROLE PLAY RULES
This is a staple, but NO GOD MODDING. No one likes when someone else decides what their character felt or did. Let your partner figure that part out. If you throw a punch, don't decide that it hits (unless you two talked about it ahead of time.) Throw the punch and let your partner decide what happens next. Also, if you are going to do something that could have a negative impact on your partner's character, try to run it by them so you're both on the same page.
The site is 18+, but please keep this PG-13. If you want anything overly sexual or violent then PM your partner, or just fade to black.

Leave the drama for the characters. Do not bring personal drama with other players into the chat. You will receive a 24 hour probation the first time and it'll go from there.
The chat is there for you if you're having a crap day. That being said, please do not make the chat your personal therapist, as we are all going through our struggles and sometimes, the chat is there to be everyone's pick-me-up.
Racist, Homophobic, Transphobic, or Bigoted comments are not welcome at TBS in any context. We want everyone feeling comfortable here. As a rule of thumb, if someone asks you to stop, please stop.
Don't try to use the chat as a grounds to advertise another rp forum. There's an area for that on the site, and it's kinda poor etiquette.
And that's pretty much it! Rules might be added if new issues arise, but for now, just try to do right by each other and make TBS a place we can all be happy with.
